I have worked in the college access field for over 15 years, working with students and families to provide information, knowledge, and the best opportunities available to them. I graduated from St. John Fisher College with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature then received my Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University at Buffalo. As the first in my family to go to college, I understand students’ struggles to understand the college admissions and financial aid processes. That is where my passion for helping others stems from. It is what drives me and motivates me to help my students. I understand the importance of higher education and believe that education is the greatest equalizer. I know the importance of a college degree and how it can change the trajectory of a person’s life and, therefore, their family. I know it, I experienced it, I am proof of it.
