In my current role at CMDA, I am engaged in transformative urban projects in Chennai. My key projects include:• Land Pooling and Area Development Scheme (LPADS) in Madambakkam- As a pioneering project in Tamil Nadu, LPADS aims to address irregular urban growth by pooling land from individual owners, developing essential public infrastructure on 40% of the land, and returning 60% back to the owners with enhanced value. - Spearheading Tamil Nadu’s first LPADS, collected and mapped revenue records, both spatial and non-spatial, using GIS tools.- Designed final plots with road access for each owner, maintaining a balance of developable land and infrastructure.- Currently leading the valuation phase, assessing financial implications and benefits for stakeholders.• Chennai Master Plan 2026 – Demography Section-Responsible for population data collection and curation, using Census and official records for accurate projections to 2026.-Analyzing key demographic factors like literacy rate, sex ratio, and migration to inform policy recommendations.-My role involves evaluating how these projections impact spatial distribution, infrastructure capacity, and policy-making. I am also exploring allocation strategies based on FSI, developable area, and employment, ensuring that population growth aligns with Chennai’s sustainable urban vision.• Local Area Plan – George Town Redevelopment-Focused on revitalizing George Town, a historic and commercially active 4 sq. km area.-Conducting an existing situation analysis, covering built density, road network efficiency, and pedestrian access.-Analyzing public transport accessibility levels (PTAL) to identify underserved areas and suggest connectivity improvements.-Prioritizing interventions that enhance road linkages, pedestrian access, and overall connectivity to foster vibrant, sustainable urban spaces.

Contributed to major regional projects, focusing on planning schemes and community engagement processes. My work centered on two significant initiatives: • Town Planning Schemes for Dadra and Nagar HaveliPart of the larger 'Development Plan of Dadra and Nagar Haveli', this project aimed to translate development visions into actionable urban schemes. My team and I analysed the existing conditions by mapping natural features, road networks, and built structures. This led to the formulation of Inception Report, which further detailed out the Concept and Approach for the scheme. • Public Consultation for Outline Development Plan of DiuIn this project, I facilitated public consultation on the Outline Development Plan of Diu, where I addressed community concerns and feedback. My responsibilities included reviewing objections related to proposed road alignments, widths, and land uses, providing detailed responses. This process was integral to fostering transparent, community-oriented urban planning.Through these experiences, I honed skills in data-driven analysis and stakeholder engagement, enhancing my ability to balance technical rigor with public interest in the urban planning process.

- Aided in the final stages of project implementation, by connecting the built entity with the users through interactive initiatives.- Formulation of Project Reports with detailed budget allocation and expenditure activity.

Having managed to head a team of 60, it greatly helped me learn and grow as a team coordinator and taught major management skills.
