I am a product manager and leader in digital technology, working on B2C and B2B software products for the past 9 years, delivering customer-facing digital experiences on both web and native-developed apps (Apple, Google Play, and Amazon). As a leader, I have mentored and advanced the careers of my direct reports, which have included product owners, product managers, and product designers. As a product manager, I know what it takes to galvanize a team to bring a product vision to market in a timely manner. As a former software engineer, I understand the engineering rigor required to create software that can grow with the product’s evolving needs. As a former scientific researcher, I know how to improve a product by measuring and analyzing user data and in-person observations. As an Agile evangelist, I champion the ideal that software is built by the efforts of many people working together, both development teams and stakeholders. Throughout all of my experiences, I have learned that it takes a lot of compassion, listening, and understanding to rally everyone behind a common vision to achieve great things.I am currently the Head of Product at HEROFi. I am responsible for the ideation, strategy, and tactics for getting the Targetable product to market and iterating on its feature set, based on customer feedback. Built around the "easy-button" principle, Targetable brings brand-tailored, location-specific advertising to new audiences who can neither afford traditional ad agencies nor the countless hours it takes to craft ad content and optimize marketing strategies across multiple software platforms. I am responsible for driving Targetable's product vision toward completion. I employ rigorous product design methodologies, such as design sprints, rapid prototyping, and product analytics to ensure that Targetable delivers both value and delight to its users.Previously, I was a senior product manager at CBS Interactive. I worked to bring the CBS All Access subscription video streaming app to new device platforms as well as evolve its features on Apple iOS mobile, Apple tvOS, Google Android mobile, Amazon Fire TV, and Google Android TV.My product management style has been influenced by a career that has spanned technology, science, and academia. I was a software engineer at the Disney ABC Television group, where I worked on the Watch suite of Disney and ABC video streaming apps. I was also a scientific researcher and lecturer at the University of California, San Diego. I hold a PhD in Psychology, focusing on the discipline of Experimental Psychology.
