•Déceler et développer des occasions d'affaires en financement et en consultation, liées principalement à l’acquisition de nouveaux clients •Élaborer et mettre en œuvre une stratégie de rétention et de croissance des relations clients, afin de constituer un portefeuille de prêts à long terme rentable à partir de clients existants, tout en assurant un service à la clientèle de catégorie supérieure •Gérer un portefeuille composé d'entreprises emprunteuses et non emprunteuses et assurer une gestion efficace des relations •Élaborer et mettre à exécution un plan de marketing personnel aligné avec la stratégie du centre d’affaires et les objectifs de prêts et de portefeuille tout en atteignant les objectifs financiers reliés au taux de perte prévu, à la rentabilité, à la croissance du revenu et à la rétention des clients •Exercer un jugement de crédit sûr afin de présenter des propositions de prêt de grande qualité comportant des niveaux de risque acceptables, conformes aux normes établies et selon les pratiques de crédit acceptées et les politiques et procédures de BDC •Analyser, négocier et préparer des propositions de prêt de grande qualité en recourant à une analyse de crédit détaillée et des pratiques saines de gestion de comptes et en exerçant une diligence raisonnable •Constituer une source de référencement indépendante (centres d'influence) à partir des réseaux existants et du développement de nouveaux réseaux locaux (par ex., agents d'influence et banques à charte) afin de faciliter l'acquisition de nouveaux clients •Rester au fait des occasions d'affaires locales en demeurant actif dans le milieu des affaires et en participant à des associations telles que des chambres de commerce
• Superviser et gérer activement la rentabilité d'une relation entre la Banque CIBC et un client, tout en veillant à comprendre parfaitement les objectifs et la situation de l'entreprise du client afin d'établir avec lui une relation à long terme mutuellement profitable. • Structurer, négocier et documenter les ententes de crédit et de gestion de trésorerie avec les clients actuels et éventuels. Négocier toutes les modalités de crédit avec le groupe Approbation du Crédit Commercial (ACC) et évaluer adéquatement le risque de la relation. Agir à titre de promoteur de l'opération au sein de la Banque CIBC. Conjointement avec Gestion de trésorerie, voir à ce que tous les renseignements soient saisis adéquatement et à jour. • Gérer de façon proactive les prêts à risque élevé en élaborant des scénarios de gestion de risque et d'évolution des besoins et en communiquant avec ACC afin de restructurer les prêts, de se protéger de façon proactive contre les risques et de réduire le plus possible les pertes. • Évaluer de façon proactive les besoins des clients et leur proposer des produits et des solutions pour y répondre et les aider à atteindre leurs objectifs généraux d'entreprise. Voir à ce que les clients demeurent conscients des avantages de ces produits et connaissent les nouveaux produits mis à leur disposition. Tenir constamment à jour sa connaissance des nouveaux produits pouvant être utiles aux clients. • Établir de nouvelles relations clients qui tirent profit des connaissances, de l'expertise et des compétences de la Banque CIBC et respectent ses seuils minimaux de tolérance au risque et de rentabilité, afin de stimuler la croissance du Groupe Entreprises.
