Events Handled : •Popes Visit to Srilanka - 2015•Sri Lanka Institute of Architects - Awards Ceremony and Dinner DanceApart from the spectrum of work mentioned in my attached resume, I was deeply involved in handling the Media Division for His Holiness Pope Francis’s visit to Sri Lanka, as a member of Light House Audio Visual (Pvt) Limited. I was granted the AAA pass, as was responsible handling the space planning for local & international broadcasting organizations and was overseeing the floral arrangements, power supply, generator, sounds, lights, video wall to name a few. This exposure gave me the experience to handle the awards ceremony & dinner dance of the Sri Lankan Institute of Architects & a couple of Avuduru Ceremonies – during my tenure at Light House. All these encounters opened a sea of opportunities for me by giving me hands on experience in handling accounts, planning & budgeting, layout planning, coordinating food & lodging arrangements, liaison with the entire crew, time keeping & all auxiliary activities essential to bring out the best from the respective events.

While acting as a Customer Services Officer, I was engaged in designing new approaches to increase the reading habits of children / young learners under 15 years of age. During my tenure, I also played a key role in organizing 'Story Time' - which ran into several sessions, with theme based learning.

In this role, I was exposed to the techniques of using remote images for data capturing decision making. This was rather a new means used for deciding on consumer patterns.
