I believe that basically all interesting innovations come from the boundaries between two or more different disciplines. As a Partner at Alsop-Louie I invest in the future of entertainment, social technology, and the relationship between technology and our bodies as we become cyborgs. I am also the co-founder of Dent, a company that creates and supports a community of entrepreneurs, executives, and creatives who are driven to “put a dent in the universe.” Through my research and work at Dent, I have had the pleasure of spending time with dozens of entrepreneurs and leaders like Pixar co-founder Alvy Ray Smith, Lynda.com founder Lynda Weinman, The North Face founder Hap Klopp, and Indiegogo co-founder Danae Ringelmann.I care deeply about the challenges that face people with Hydrocephalus. I am a board member for The Hydrocephalus Association, which is the only national nonprofit organization that is funding research into the causes and potential cures for Hydrocephalus on any scale. Good communication is one of the most essential and most difficult challenges of any human endeavor.
