Jon is a TPI ans Swing Catalyst certified Senior MSK Physiotherapist who has experience working across a wide variety of conditions, specialising in Sports Physiotherapy. Over the last 12 years he has worked in 3 countries, across a wide range of sports and sporting levels from weekend warriors to Olympic athletes and racing drivers. Jon is specialised in analysis and treatment of golfers and golf swings.Jon has a strong biomechanics focus and looks to understand the reasons behind why injuries take place, how to prevent them and how to improve sporting performance.Formally a lead tutor for the Oxford School of Sports Massage, Jon has a very strong manual therapy focus and utilises advanced soft tissue techniques, joint mobilisations and manipulations in treatment. Jon is trained in Kinesiology and athletic taping, Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Tool assisted massage, Extracorporeal Radial Shockwave and other electrotherapy modalities. He also works together with patients to prescribe specific exercise programmes to help them improve as quickly as possible, and to prevent injury reoccurrence.Jon has a keen interest in sports and being in the outdoors, is a member of Balmoral Golf Club and enjoys skiing in the Austrian alps. He was previously a Winger for the Reading Abbey RFC and has completed the Reading Half Marathon twice, and competed in Olympic and Sprint Triathlons.
