JP Roach is a Southern California native who focuses exclusively on representing tenants and owner-users of commercial space throughout the country. As a former litigator with an MBA, JP combines his business and legal background to produce a unique form of zealous advocacy for his clients. JP specializes in complex, time-critical transactions serving technology, life science, medical device, high tech manufacturing, industrial and business services companies. JP is an expert in tenant representation, strategic planning and needs assessment, site selection, financial analysis, negotiation and transaction structuring for lease relocations/expansions, lease renewals, early lease restructures, built-to-suit developments and property acquisitions. JP joined Savills in 2019 from Hughes Marino, where he was a senior vice president and had helped open the firm’s Orange County office. Prior to joining Hughes Marino, JP worked as an attorney at several respected litigation firms. JP is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of California. JP holds a dual JD/MBA degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and Point Loma Nazarene University, along with a B.A. in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. JP is a 6X recipient of the prestigious Irvine Company’s Broker of the Year award and a 3X recipient of Irvine Company’s Broker of the Quarter.JP lives in Southern California with his wife Courtney, also an attorney, their three kids, and their Labradoodle. He enjoys surfing, swimming, golfing, traveling, running races, competing in triathlons, and spending time with family and friends.
