My journey in the business world is currently taking place as a student Athlete at Kansas State University. I am a junior studying Business Management with hopes of graduating in the spring of 2025.Kansas State has been a great fit for me as an athlete and a student. I am on the golf team at Kansas State, this sport is what I am truly passionate about. I love the team aspect as well as the hard work and grit that is required with being the best. Kansas State has not only allowed me to explore passions with sports, but also career. I love solving problems, whether it be with numbers or individual people. Being an athlete takes up my time the entire year, so I have not been able to complete any internships or serve in campus activities. With this being said golfing at Kansas State is my job. I have 20–30-hour weeks filled with practice, tournaments, meetings, and workouts. My golf career has taught me how to be a leader, work hard at my craft, attend and complete things on time, and respect my coaches. All of these aspects are like working at an internship, So I believe I have the same if not more experience, then a regular student.My goal is to play on The PGA Tour, but I love the business side of the world. I have hopes of working in the business industry as well. Leadership is my biggest asset. Kansas State has taught me how to lead vocally and by example. This characteristic is why I believe I will fit in to any business position I receive. I am pursuing a business profession because I like working with people and finances. As I described in my headline, I am hardworking and determined. These characteristics were developed through my career in Golf. I constantly strive to be the best in my craft.
