In 2019 I was afforded a unique opportunity to expand my role and expand the Core Services team into a global services demand organization that maintained year-over-year growth along with dramatic increase in program oriented services. I helped support the organization's leadership expand the team to include an executive advisory team, six national information security domain SME teams, a robust bid response center and proposal management group, and its associate program. My responsibilities included business and operations analytics for all groups (using Domo and Salesforce), compensation plan management, engagement model change management, and system development and management (of key systems). One of my most significant efforts was leading a small team of developers in creating a next generation solution modeling platforms that managed effort and pricing, resource planning, and content management.

I was privileged to lead a group of 100 of Optiv's finest advisors; covering information security, consulting and contract subject matter expertise. Our team provided global and national technical sales support for all of Optiv's consulting services and managed solutions (supporting over 18 P&L's). In 2018 Core Services was responsible for driving and closing over $200M in consulting sales, achieving a 50% conversion rate, and maintaining year-over-year growth. Over the years, the team established an internal associates program, for grooming new talent, developed in-house solutions that expanded opportunity and workflow management, and maintained solutions that standardized proposal and contract management for thousands of opportunities a year. In addition to the management and leadership responsibilities, my activities include speaking at various security events, assisting with account strategy and assisting with solution scoping and position.

As Solutions Director of Consulting Services for Accuvants Pre-Sales organization, I led a focused team of consulting advisors. Our team supported global, national and regional strategic sales across all of Accuvant services (including Accuvant LABS) and included strategic partner pre-sales support. We maintained a 30% year-over-year growth going from 20M in consulting services to over 100M in the last year. Aside from management responsibilities, my activities include speaking at various security events, presenting for clients, assisting sales staff with solution scoping and positioning, and tailoring the skills of Accuvant LABS to client needs.

Provided technical security consulting and sales engineering support to Accuvant's north central region. Worked along side five account managers increasing the regions net new clients and expanding services and solutions within the existing client base.While acting as a technical solutions engineer I was involved in the deployment of several highly available virtual firewall environments providing traffic visibility and security at the network core. I was also responsible for developing custom windows based client software to integrate with RSA's multi-factor authentication solution and developing custom content parsers for RSA's SIEM solution.Finally, in my role as solutions engineer I assisted in educating and positioning solutions from over 75 vendors and providing business justification for a significant number of mission critical solutions. Of the solutions sold many were for next generation firewall, wireless security, end point security, network access control and data loss prevention.

Our team supplied network and data security expertise to vendors and resellers who in turn provide our services to their clientele. Guardian Technologies worked with many of the largest companies in the world, based out of the Chicago area. The work we performed was of the highest caliber, and maintained high customer satisfaction with most of our customer relationships being over 10 years old.
