The Jefferson Parish Soccer Academy (JPSA) is a newly created 501c3 non-profit charity organization built on the foundation of promoting and developing mutual respect, character and hard work in the children of the community of Jefferson Parish through the participation in the sport of soccer. The founders of JPSA have over 100 years of teaching and coaching experience to children of all ages, ethnicity’s and genders within our parish. Together with relationships with the Jefferson Parish Council and government, the Jefferson Parish Recreational Department (JPRD), and local businesses across the parish, we believe that we can create a model that can be used for the betterment of our young people through sport. JPSA strives to be the primary provider of soccer education for all children across the metro area. JPSA looks to offer programs to a wide-range of ages and abilities from three-year olds to competitive and recreation youth programs. JPSA envisions a membership beginning with more than 100+ and growing to over 1000 by 2023. Our organization provides excellent learning and character-building experiences for youth and has potential to have a broad impact on the area’s economy. JPSA hopes to secure home sites across the parish. The JPSA have organized and meticulously planned objectives of 100 percent retention of existing membership, ensure all members have a positive experience, grow our membership base and actively recruit new membership, with a focus on the undeserved areas of Jefferson Parish. JPSA is passionately committed to providing our members with the best soccer experience possible at a cost effective price point. Our coaches will be provided with continued technical and supportive training so that they may continue to foster and develop children into responsible athletes and citizens. We will request our families to be involved in the development of their daughters and sons as they become the best people they can be, both on and off the field. Parents and children will participate in well-organized games, practices, and community events, which will always emphasize positive character traits: good sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork, effort, persistence, and respect for their coaches, opponents, and officials.
