Surveying, Civil Engineering Duties, Managing sub contractors, Quality Assurance, Record Keeping, Building plans management, Site supervising, Directly responsible for smooth operation around Central city bus station on £43 Million job - Demolishing work / Rebuild The job was to maintain public transport within Bristol city centre by constructing an operational temporary bus station whilst demolishing the old one. Including that was building a four level Magistrates Court Building with deep pile foundations in the clay and mud - Bristol is an harbour so the initial part of the project was constructed under the high water level of the major tidal reached of the northern Hemisphere. Another major part of that project was building the foundations for a massive Key worker housing complex. This was a base structure for a 10 level building.All that happened and we had archeological excavations going on where we discovered twenty four 17th century skeletons and a 12 meter deep well use in those day behind the Priory ( a old church ) - after all of that we had the build a new Bus Station fully operation before the temporary one was demolished - Great fun - awesome experience !

Lifeguarding duties at mainly Kleinmond Beach, Hermanus Grotto Beach, Palmiet Beach, Betties Bay Beach & Pringle Bay Beach. Kleinmond beach being the main blue flag rated beach - considered one of the most dangerous in the country due to strong currents and large surf. Preventing the public from going in when condition were not suitable - shark watch - setting up safe swimming zones - monitoring the conditions and keeping a watchful eye on public. IRB training, jetski training in big surf - personal water crafts and offshore survival - along with understanding how the oceanic tidal movements works and what to do in extreme cases of danger. Tow surfing big waves was the result of all this experience as part of my way of life as a diver, fisherman and ocean minded individual. Working as part of a team and training new recruits.
