Leads division responsible for all operations and workflows related to purchasing, resource acquisition/procurement, contract management, metadata, statistical reporting, cataloging and library systems administration & support. Serves as chief financial steward for University of Richmond Libraries, overseeing the management, planning, forecasting, internal controls, strategy and resource allocation of an annual operating budget in excess of $8 million. Co-chairs Collections Working Group, coordinating collections strategy, resource allocation and budgetary oversight for large portfolio of scholarly resources. Completed successful department re-org (2021-2022). Project lead for successful Alma/Primo systems migration project (2019-2020).

Responsible for the licensing, procurement and management of Northwestern's electronic resources in the health sciences, including databases, ebooks, electronic serials and other non-print materials. Served as library's primary vendor contact; managed and/or negotiated annual contracts, purchases, firm orders and renewals. Oversaw library's comprehensive collection budget of approx. $2 million annually. Coordinated cost-sharing agreements with affiliated hospitals and campus libraries. Provided budget forecasts, expenditure reports, statistics, and analysis to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Oracle Business Intelligence software and the university's central financial management system. Co-chaired the Collections Working Group, tasked with evaluating and building the collection year-round to support emerging research, clinical, and educational needs.Improved resource discovery by identifying, troubleshooting and resolving access problems in a complex academic health system with multiple sites, networks and access entitlements. Administrator for cloud-based ILS (Alma), discovery platform (Primo) and related access systems (EZproxy, LibGuides, customized link resolver, etc.). Supported Northwestern's mission of research and discovery by providing users with seamless and reliable access to scholarly information resources.

Managed library’s electronic and digital collections through oversight of the e-resources workflow and administration of related discovery and access systems (SFX, LibGuides, ILLiad, CONTENTdm, WorldCat Local, EZproxy, VuFind & Voyager). Liaison librarian for departments of Math and Computer Science. Managed subject funds and collection budget in areas assigned. Responsible for classroom instruction sessions, weekly reference shifts and one-on-one consultations. Provided training and technical support to staff, faculty and students for all issues related to library computing, systems and access. Assisted with long-term ethnographic research project focused on library user experience by developing related web presence and in-house video tutorials. Implemented and administered digital collections platform; worked with University Archives to digitize and publish library’s first digital collection. Contributed to various website redesigns and updates; managed and created content for "Library News" blog and social media.

Worked on various digitization projects for the Iowa Digital Library including "Iowa Journalists Oral Histories" and "Iowa City Town and Campus Scenes." Utilized CONTENTdm for uploading content, entering descriptive Dublin Core metadata, applying controlled vocabularies, and developing collection-level schema.
