At Alcatel-Lucent I managed a team of over 21 project managers in Canada and the US.My responsibilities included project delivery for Government as well as Vertical and Strategic customers such as Hydro One, TBay Tel, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sirius. While there, my key projects included Sirius' Radio land repeater deployment across the USA, which included everything from site acquisition, construction, installation & integration , Hydro One's Sonet network upgrade as well as network components for the MARS underwater observatory project (http://www.mbari.org/at-sea/cabled-observatory). Additional projects included a multitude of microwave projects and optical projects.I spent my time at Alcatel-Lucent successfully delivering of all my team's projects under budget and on or ahead of time.

I began my career at Alcatel-Lucent as a Sr. Project Manager with responsibilities for our Canadian Optical and Microwave roll-out deployments.My customer group included Government and Service Provider which also included companies like Hydro One, Hydro QC, Tbay Tel and Telus.

In 2002, I created a company to deliver wireless Wifi services, engineering, security and integration - at a time when wireless was just coming into its prime. We were the guys who brought both Aruba Networks (now HP) and Airmagnet into Canada. Our customers included a mix of both Enterprise and Education customers which included Humber College, Richard Ivey, Baycrest Hospital and others.We were the first to offer locally 'ethical hacking' of wireless networks to demonstrate security vulnerabilities and were often covered and interviewed on this topic in various newspapers and business magazines. Wireless Friendly was sold in 2005.

I was one of the original shareholders at Frontier Networks. I assumed a brief contract with under my Wireless Friendly tenure to assist the President in running the project of establishing and negotiating all of Frontier's Network to Network Interfaces (NNI) with their partner carriers.During my contract position there I was also tasked with working with management on future strategies for Frontier.

At Azonic I was tasked with creating and managing network infrastructure for the 'in building' sites we were building for both cellular and emerging WIFI.I was also tasked with technology development which included looking at other ways to leverage our Building Access Agreements in our installation sites which included many of the prime Class A buildings in Toronto.

Responsible for technical staff and delivery of C1 Communication networks services across Ontario.

Building a high speed network for the TV and Movie industry to enable virtual collaboration and editing from anywhere in North America. Responsible for establishing and managing carrier relations on East coast as well as participate in the deliver and launch of the early customer adopters.

At Integrated Cable Systems I was responsible for business development for a new business division that started building metropolitan area networks with local hydro utilities across the province of Ontario. My territory included Northern Ontario and extended south to Orillia and Peterborough Ontario. As the business development manager, I was responsible to work with the hydro utilities to help them market and sell their newly built network services to area customers including ISPs, educational, government and healthcare institutions.
