JP is a Senior Surveillance Analyst at the Capital Markets Integrity Corporation, the market regulation unit of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). He monitors unusual trading activity and/or trading related irregularities at the PSE based on established market surveillance parameters and technical analysis. He makes reports and presents findings based on accurate and verifiable data in an organized and concise manner. He has been with the Exchange for more than ten years. He finished his graduate degree in Computational Finance at De La Salle University and undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics at Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Taguig. He is one of the first Data Scientist scholars who finished Project SPARTA under the Development Academy of the Philippines and selected as one of the thirty fellows across Southeast Asia in the YSEALI Academy - Technology and Innovations Seminar at Fulbright University Vietnam. He received certifications such as Certified Securities Specialist of the PSE and Certified Technical Analyst of the Society of Technical Analysts (STA). He was an active student leader receiving the Most Outstanding Student Leader both in his graduate and undergraduate programs. He holds key positions and membership roles in various organizations such as Polytechnic University of the Philippines Taguig Alumni Association, Analytics Association of the Philippines and Project Pearls.In the academe, JP is currently a Finance Lecturer at the De La Salle University and as a Guest Lecturer at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Graduate School, Master in Applied Statistics Program.
