About Jorge Puebla
I am Research Scientist at the Center of Emergent Matter Science at RIKEN (Japan), belonging to the research team lead by Prof. Yoshichika Otani (World renowned Scientist in Magnetism). My research work relates to photon and phonon interactions with matter, with more than 10 years of experience in academia and industry in various countries. Part of my work in academia has been published in peer review journals (see publications section). I have mentored visiting students, Master and PhD Junior researchers (Two Master students and one PhD student already graduated). I am regular participant of recognized international conferences with oral presentations, including invited talks. My work in industry helped to the development of a commercial closed-cycle cryostat for scanning probe microscopy, setting the benchmark of worldwide low vibrations.
