Jim is a maritime professional with extensive experience in terminal and vessel operations. During his career he has contributed as a senior manager providing strategic planning and organizational development. Jim has a strong background in safety, quality, regulatory compliance, operations, and business development. He has participated in the start-up of two successful companies including a US based lightering company and development of a shore base for support of offshore exploration and production. Jim was appointed by the US Secretary of Transportation to the Chemical Tanker Advisor Committee (CTAC) where he served as Chair for the Vessel Cargo Tank Over-Pressurization Subcommittee. The recommendations developed by the subcommittees have been widely recognized and adopted within the industry.
