A first class Swansea University Economics and Finance graduate who also holds a Finance MSc distinction, obtained from the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam. Here, my thesis, titled 'Volatility Forecasting in the Foreign Exchange Market with Univariate Time Series Models', heavily involved the use of quantitative econometric financial models. Besides my thesis research, I hold a concentrated interest into matters that surround the industrial areas of Corporate Valuation, Asset Management, Market Analysis, and ESG investing. Having come to the end of my academic path, I have now started an exciting new graduate scheme within the UK nuclear industry. The Finance, Audit, and Risk (FAR) programme of the NDA provides me the opportunity to study for the CIMA level 7 chartered management accounting qualification, whilst gaining a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic UK nuclear industry. The FAR programme is three years in duration. For my first year, I am enrolled on a secondment with Magnox Ltd. Here, my role is focused on the performance and reporting branch of financial operations within the NDA subsidiary.
