Responsibilities included:- collaborating with global audit partners and senior executives when developing resources and training used to advance audit quality topics; - producing several case studies, where the findings were used to enhance root cause analysis and remediation guidelines for global personnel; and - leveraging micro and macro data to identify solutions working well at KPMG member firms to further scale risk technologies and prioritize project/program transformations.

As Senior Manager at KPMG US, I focused on auditing and verifying SOX compliance of financials for multimillion-dollar clients. The audit team consisted of up to 20 senior associates. The role enabled me to work with companies who required financial audits and due diligence as part of their public filing or IPO processes. Yet, much of my role involved working with audit, compliance, and senior leadership on risk planning, management and assurance over the compliance with regulatory and auditing standards. This was done with a team of associates that I trained and coached. I also conducted peer evaluations and mentored/job shadowed them to ensure members complied with company best practices as well as other governing bodies, including the SEC.
