As part of the Consultancy Project module of my degree, I worked with The Whitworth Art Gallery to help solve the issue of a reduction in funding through the commercial potential of The Whitworth Park. Throughout the project, we worked towards completing three main KPI's: understanding the demographic and users of The Whitworth Park and their awareness of the gallery, a review of the wider literature and initiatives around the UK in similar parks and an indication of the events and facilities that people would like to see in Whitworth Park, including which of these they would be willing to pay for and at what price points. Throughout the project, my team and I have carried out both primary and secondary research, including a survey and focus group and a deep analysis of suggested events to improve the commercial potential of The Whitworth Park. The final report and presentation are to be presented in May 2018.The client has been more than impressed with the work so far.

Working in the CMO team I was able to gain an excellent understanding of the different areas within the team specifically in social and digital insights. Projects included: Sharing & distributing digital knowledge through the Digital Download: Took initiative to learn HTML coding to design, organise and distribute a digital newsletter to the company.Innovating collaboratively across brands to maximise acquisition and lifetime value: Ran a cross-marketing CRM project aligning complementary brands to increase brand acquisition and LTV of customers. Relationship Management & Acquisition of influencers: using tools across the tech stack I implemented my own project on organic influencer management and acquisition. Adding a new metric to mixed marketing modelling: worked with brands to add influencer data to the econometrics model.Going above and beyond for collaboration and up-skilling of peers: ran training sessions across the company on a new tool added to the social tech stack.

Roles included managing other team members by running the floor and delegating tasks, mentored new starters ensuring quick progress showing leadership, teamwork and the ability to motivate.Constantly provided excellent customer service by communicating with customers to understand their needs. Effectively dealt with displeased customers protecting the company reputation. Effective communication and the ability to understand the consumer was crucial.Helped prepare the store in the run-up to Christmas partaking in night shifts and using my creative vision to merchandise certain areas. High levels of motivation and initiative were needed to solve problems. Assisted the Topman Stylist creating fashionable outfits for clients, understanding their vision and the best way to represent this in their style. Received extremely positive feedback.Very flexible in making myself available to numerous overtime shifts and covering sicknesses when needed, passionate about working hard and performing to the best of my ability. Enjoy motivating others and working together to achieve goals.
