Heading up the IT operation for CLSA throughout Europe, The Middle East and Africa sitting on the Global IT Management Team as well as performing the Role of Global Market Data Manager. Summary of Achievements• Project managed a new fixed income business line into London. Working directly with the business stake holders in HK and China to extend the existing business activity from China into Europe. Worked directly with Bloomberg setting up and testing the Bloomberg TOMS environment and managed the development teams to ensure all up and downstream processes were developed, tested and in production well ahead of time for business go live.• Project managed a new M & A business line into London including the build out of dedicated office space. Liaised directly with the existing teams in Asia ensuring the business unit was ready to hit the ground running.• Acted as Global Market Data manager for CLSA Managing the $15m market data budget and saving 20% on three occasions with a self-initiated cost reduction exercise. Reduced the overall run rate by 10% and migrated the existing service towards a managed service using Screen Info match.• Managed teams both locally and overseas to deliver a program of projects and services under tight budgetary constraints and reduced time lines. In particular I managed the Global migration of the telephony services from IPC and Nortel to Cisco CM and BT Netrix using an outsourced utility model with BT.• Member of the Global IT Management team, Crisis Management Team both locally and globally and the local finance and operations management committee. As part of these committees contributed Globally to business initiative and locally in reducing operational costs.

Head hunted by CLSA HK and relocated from Paris to London to manage the Local IT team and infrastructure for this Larger Asian Brokerage house. This role involved many interesting and challenging projects working in an environment of high pressure to reduce cost and deliver simultaneously leading edge solutions to the business. Summary of Achievements• Concluded the Office and data centre fit out migrating the Far Eastern Brokerage arm of Crédit Agricole to dedicated infrastructure. • Program managed and executed the office relocation project from Leadenhall street to Moor house under tight time and budgetary constraints. Working closely with the office fit out contractors, M&E consultants and design teams to ensure the project ran to budget and on time. In addition, liaised closely with the business to ensure all requirements were met and all service providers to ensure a continuity of service in a live trading environment.• Program managed Indian Development centre build out in Pune providing Global data centre resilience, Local BCP solution for other Indian Offices and office space for the Global Technology teams providing development and global system support. • Setup of office and small datacentre in Dubai for local sales and administrative team. • Project managed the replacement of current GL Trade order management system to in-house built application. Liaised closely with the development team ensuring the product reached the end users using Agile methodology. • Setup both people space and technology for the administrative Head Office in Amsterdam following the sale of CLSA to CITICS. This environment had to be setup within eight weeks with connectivity back to London for system and telecoms access. • Managed various teams both in house, locally and in various overseas locations as well as outsourced suppliers in order to provide total support services to the team in London, Amsterdam and the Middle East.

Reporting directly to the Branch Head of IT continued to head up the IT function of the Asian based brokerage business as well as being involved in Branch projectsHighlights of Achievements> Responsible for the implementation of a Local Client hub for the Electronic Trading business (BLINK) and oversee the work of the development team who were working on electronic connectivity to other European Markets > Responsible for RMDS platform and upgrading Reuters 3000 Xtra from Reuters 3000> The setup and ongoing support of external disaster recovery services including Reuters, Bloomberg, Octopus for Exchange server replication, Euroclear, Global Topic Trader as well as in-house trading and account management applications> Closure and decommissioning of all IT services due to the closure of the brokerage business

Reporting directly to the Finance Director was responsible for the dealing room and back office support of 75+ Users in London and Geneva.

Working within a Help Desk environment was responsible for both the hardware and software support of 300+ users.
