My primary duty was running 1-3 raising gangs and was the Lead Supervisor, I was in charge of my crews to ensure that we were meeting MSHA and OSHA regulations. Day to day duties included connecting, rigging and welding iron, reading blueprints and quality checking everything we were building. I've worked on everything from Draglines to Sawmills, commercial buildings, mines, hospital schools and bridges, power plants, anything built from steel our crew would erect the infra-structure and then move on to the next "big" project, We always looked for the biggest projects we could find.
