Assist with Recruiting and Various Administrative Responsibilities

This was a temporary position where I helped to Recruit for an IT position and helped with various administrative duties.

Aerotek/Wells FargoRecruiter II 5/2013-12/2013While working for Aerotek, I had a temporary assignment with Wells Fargo. My primary responsibilities were to call 13 scheduled interviews daily and conduct phone interviews with them. Following the interview, I updated a spreadsheet and made a recommendation to move the candidate forward for an additional interview or decline the candidate. I worked closely with the Hiring Teams from a number of Call Centers throughout the Country to ensure I was meeting their hiring needs based on the candidates I was selecting for them. This was a fantastic position in which I worked with a great team and was able to really use my Recruiting experience and skills

Primary Responsibilities include: Assisting job seekers with preparing resumes and cover letters, training job seekers on the iMatch system and how to locate jobs that match their skills, providing support as needed taking calls, schedueling job seekers for classes offered through WorkSource Oregon, answering questions about the various services offered through Job Growers and WorkSource Oregon

Recruiting Ambassador, position involved but was not limited to interviewing, sourcing,networking, relationship building, screening applicants, running backgrounds, extending offers, new hire paperwork and orientation, training on the art of interviewing. My primary responsibilites were to promote T-Mobile, create strong relationships within the community and source candidates through job boards and creative thinking to keep our pipline strong. I did quite a bit of volunteer work, took every opportunity to be on committees and Boards that would help gain exposure and keep connected to the various businesses who were key to referring candidates to T-Mobile.I attended job fairs on a regular basis, made regular visits to the Employment Offices throughout the area, typically going to all of them in a 15-20 mile radius of the Call Center and conducting "Meet and Greet" sessions with potential candidates to present the positions we were hiring for, answer questions and assist candidates with the on line application process.I also had the opportunity to travel to various T-Mobile Call Centers to assist in hiring or training new Recruiting Staff wherever needed. My position at T-Mobile offered me so many opportunities to take part in special projects and learn a variety of valuable skills....

I worked for Viacom, AT&T, TCI twice actually. I had previously worked for Viacom Cable from mid 1996 to mid 1998 where my primary responsibility was to assist our customer with needs such as billing questions or concerns, placing orders for new service, transferring service, adding or changing service plans. This position had a strong sales component as well. We had quotas to meet as up selling was a strong a focus in this position. I moved in 1998 to Northern CA. where I went to school (for a non related field) then returned to Oregon and was rehired on at AT&T as Viacom had merged with AT&T during the time I was gone.
