With a focus on technology, Randy went on to hold junior and senior roles in software development, technical sales, exec sales and business process management with a handful of small and large companies for over a decade.After the tech bubble in the early 2000s, Randy used his tech career as a means to get back to his small business and entrepreneurial roots and proceeded to found/co-found seven companies over the next 20 years. This period included building companies from startup to $35m in revenue, 1 to 1,200 employees, and featured two exits, four M&A transactions, and over $40m raised in private capital. For all these companies, Randy brought his entrepreneurial passion and experience for strategy, sales building, customer engagement, financial and data analysis, and setting & achieving company goals.Randy had to learn to maintain composure under pressure, swiftly process situations whether good or bad, and collaborate with teams to develop and execute effective plans tailored to the specific context. He gained immense experience and pride in forming and leading talented teams of professionals through such diverse business sectors as technology/SaaS, retail/restaurant, professional services, financial services, delivery logistics, franchising, medical/insurance, automotive, aircraft, and oil & gas.After growing up in Anchorage, Alaska and graduating from the University of Texas, Austin in 1993 with a BA in Economics, Business & Art History, Randy and his wife Rebecca have lived in Austin for 30 years, now with their two children, Charlie and William.
