The Mission Command Training Program supports the collective training of Army units as directed by the Chief of Staff of the Army and scheduled by Forces Command in accordance with the ARFORGEN process at worldwide locations in order to train leaders and provide Commanders the opportunity to train on Mission Command in Unified Land Operations.As the Senior Aviation Observer Controller Trainer for Operations Group Foxtrot within MCTP, I developed and facilitated doctrinally-based workshops and shared tactics, techniques, and procedures from the field to re-indoctrinate units before executing operational missions. This included coaching, teaching, and mentoring brigade staff members on the operations process during Warfighter Exercises and Mission Rehearsal Exercises. During the conduct of these exercises, my team analyzed unit processes and procedures and provided relevant feedback to the unit and other agencies through individual feedback, AARs, and written reports. I also served as a lead planner for exercises to integrate all planning requirements necessary to support the commander's training objectives.
