I lead an innovative group of designers, analysts and developers within the Center for Population Health Data Science at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. We are helping DOHMH work towards impactful, scalable analytics infrastructure. We design, develop, launch, and maintain data products both internally and externally at DOHMH, as well as provide training and support to other teams around the agency.

I managed a team of analytics professionals to provide insightful data visualizations, consistent reporting, and ad hoc analytics for the Commissioner of Health, City Hall, and various other stakeholders. Throughout the COVID-19 emergency, my team built scalable systems and processes to enable sustainable analytics during future pandemics and other emergencies.

I also enabled and supported data-driven decision making throughout our sales, operations, and growth teams by developing visual data products.

Responsible for collecting and maintaining data on investment offerings including stocks, mutual funds, and similar vehicles. My team aggregated market and fundamental data from several hundred sources for blue chip customers engaged in commodity trading and risk management. The team's strength was building creative software solutions for market data collection, organization, and distribution coupled with a suite of applications to query data at the desktop and feed it to downstream enterprise applications. I worked with data analysts, data developers, and product support specialists to ensure Morningstar distributed accurate, reliable, and timely data to clients. I also monitored processing activities of the data warehouse and responded to all problems that may occur.
