For the last year and a half I was a recruitment resourcer where my role was predominantly finding CV's of potential candidates who might be the ideal fit for a role the client was looking for. I was let go by my previous employer which I'd be happy to discuss in more detail. As a result I am now looking to pivot away from recruitment and step into a technical role within the IT industry.Prior to this, I had been hard at work in the telecoms industry for ~10 years, working for three of the leading mobile phone retailers in the country, including EE and Carphone Warehouse. My longest stint was 6 years at Carphone Warehouse where I was made redundant following store closures in 2020. During that time I had accomplished sales targets, was the stores dedicated Apple Master (Apple Specialist Program) and was also in line to become the next assistant manager.In my time away from work, I am currently (Nov 2024) undertaking a IT Skills Bootcamp which specialises in CompTIA A+ and MS Dynamics. I was also able to go back to college after being made redundant by CPW to study a passion of mine which is game development and design, I completed this at Sunderland College obtaining a distinction.
