My work helps organizations better understand and manage their assets to in order to maximize functional life and minimize cost. I work on and off site to assess the condition and integrity of structures, identify and mitigate risk, create and optimize maintenance practices, and communicate with stakeholders.

Originally seconded into the Project Delivery team to manage the execution of two road projects in the civil sector. Currently working on a civil-sector major project to improve Melbourne's Western Link since the practical completion of the widening of the CityLink-Tullamarine tollway.

My work at Monash covers a number of research and supervisory roles. My primary work is to investigate corrosion properties of additively-manufactured 316L stainless steel. This investigation will inform future research and advance knowledge in this little understood niche. Other work focuses on repairing and commissioning material testing systems and designing new experimental procedures. I am also helping to supervise a number of PhD projects involving stress corrosion cracking and 3D printing of metals.

I co-founded Startship because I believe there are better ways of learning yet to be explored. Along with my co-founder, we self-funded, developed, and launched a first-principles approach for learning and developing interpersonal soft skills. As co-founder and CTO, I performed the following functions: • Managing company operations on daily, weekly, and monthly bases • Interfacing with the development team to ensure quality and timely delivery of new features • Overseeing, tracking, and forecasting company finances • Performing market research and developing and implementing sales cycles • Generating sales leads and interfacing with potential customers • Manage user base and track, collect, and analyze user behavior

My research solely focused on researching possible chromate-free replacements for chromate-based corrosion-inhibiting functional coatings used to protect galvanized steel. I was responsible for launching this 3 year, industrial-partnered project while PI Dr. Nick Birbilis assembled a team of student researchers led by a post-doc. Among other lab duties, my responsibilities included: • Establishing rigorous experimental procedures • Optimizing data throughput and collection • Leading interactions with our industrial partner • Researching, acquiring, and testing potential chromate-replacement solutions • Training new researchers

I worked as part of a 6-7 person production team responsible for operating at 3300 liter brewhouse, keeping up with demand and ensuring rigorous quality standards. Due to the team's small size and a fair amount of automation, my duties spanned the entire production process. These duties included brewing, transferring wort/beer, dry-hopping, filtering, kegging, cleaning and sanitizing tanks and production equipment, receiving shipments, managing internal logistics, and monitoring yeast activity/fermentation.

Upon graduation, I had traveled very little, so I decided to take a gap 9 months to see and experience foreign countries and cultures. I started in Korea where I was an intern for Samsung at their Dongtan, Hwaseong facilities in South Korea. From there, I traveled through several countries in Southeast Asia trying to get a better idea of what life is like in this rapidly growing part of the world. In November, I traveled to Europe for both familial obligations and tourism. After about 3 months in Europe, I traveled back east with a desire to see high profile and high population countries. I spent a month each in Turkey, India, and China in order to immerse myself in these vastly diverse and impressive societies.

• Performed pre-discovery research as a first step to reformulate and develop an improved ThermaCare heat patch to be more efficient and cost effective.• Worked with other senior chemists and engineers on and off site to acquire necessary production equipment and to create accurate testing methods for myself and future researchers.

• Assisted in developing corrosion sensors for use in military aircraft and naval vessels.• Developed sensor systems to detect aluminum alloy sensitization and related mechanical properties.

• Interfaced with the faculty to assist in the development of promotional materials and research summaries for web and print media.• Attended conferences and other events to acquire resouces for use in promotional media.
