We were able to launch multiple data engines (Cloudera and Redshift) on both Azure and AWS. My role at Cazena was to lead the QA and UX teams. As Manager of the user experience team we developed a user console using Ruby on Rails and AngularJS. When I started, the application had many bugs and only 7 working tests. During my time developing and leading the team, we increased our test coverage to 95%, reducing bug count and increasing the speed to deliver new features.Also, managed the QA team turning a process from manual testing only which was able to release every two months to a fully automated system written in Java. Trained the QA engineers in Java and began testing in all levels of the system from the UX using Selenium to the SaltStack to test the servers that are running. We used Jenkins and JUnit to drive the tests and make sure our daily pipe jobs pass.Was also responsible for all Java code quality metrics using Findbugs, Unit Testing and Checkstyle. Introduced the team to use Artifactory to cache our dependencies and hold our builds. -
