Jesus Renzullo is a graduate in international affairs and a Master candidate in Public Policy at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, University of Erfurt, as a scholarship holder of the Helmut-Schmidt Programme for Governance of the DAAD. Since his arrival in Germany, Jesus has developed his line of research in geoeconomics of energy transition, geoeconomics of finance and data analysis (via Python) both at the University of Erfurt and in his internship with the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) in Berlin. With more than 4 projects currently in the area, a dozen of podcasts as interviewer and several articles published, he aims to become a public policy advisor in the area of energy transition, European decarbonization policy and North-South cooperation for the energy transition. Jesus also has more than 4 years of experience as a public policy analyst and project coordinator in the areas of international trade, macroeconomic policy and new technologies for the Venezuelan think tank Cedice Libertad. In addition, he has worked in the education sector as an hired instructor for the Universidad Central de Venezuela in the area of International Relations Theory, and in the private sector as an export consultant in the agricultural commodities sector (mainly coffee and cocoa). He has programming experience in several languages (Python, SQL, VBA), 4 languages at professional proficiency level (Spanish, English, French and German) and a great interest in the relationship between geoeconomics and policy implementation.
