Handle tickets for multiple DODEA sites, fix computer issues, perform a variety of technical and paraprofessional duties in support of centralized procurement, personnel, budget and administrative functions or in support of projects or programs; assists administrative and analytical personnel in researching, compiling and reviewing information; develops and maintains databases and spreadsheets

I create and deliver submittals, use AutoCAD for electrical/wiring/mechanical/HVAC/riser diagrams. I select terminal unit controllers, know my way around air handling units, dissect mech/elect/piping diagrams, read engineer handwriting (an artform in it's own), type up Sequence of Operations'; however, for the most part I transform a proposal into a submittal using engineering data for my project managers.

As install, I learned the ways of the hammer drill, using a pair of Kleins and my Milwaukee drill for just about everything. My foreman and I installed many kinds of devices: humidistats, thermostats, low temperature detectors, actuators, static pressure blow out switches, basically everything that Siemens Building Automation Industry produces. It was a lot of Floridian sun, pulling wire, and learning about tools. It was possibly the most sweat and blood I've ever expended on a learning experience. Especially with a unibit.
