Delivery of Roads ACT's Major Capital Works Programme for TAMS' Roads and Public Transport division.Development of business cases, supporting presentations for budget bids, creation of project plans and responsibility for the day to day running and delivery of a large number of projects within MCW's portfolio.

Client side project management delivering Roads ACT's major capital works programme for the ACT Government's Territory and Municipal Services Directorate.Projects ranged from duplication or upgrades of major roads and highways, intersection upgrades and bridge construction to the construction of off road shared use paths including the widely heralded civic cycle loop.

Building maintenance contracts - coordinated strategies for work from 2 day to 2 week jobs, ensured work was carried out safely and appropriate method statements were adhered to.

First point of contact for the contractor, assisting the SDSRs and dealing with construction issues including Technical Queries, Material Approval Requests & Construction Activity Plans.I carried out inspections of the works before and after concrete placement. Good time management, problem solving skills and prioritisation were all essential in this role.

Civil/Structural Engineer as part of the Atkins Graduate Scheme. Atkins gave me exposure to Highway & Bridge Design from feasibility studies through to detailed design and site supervision under both design & build and traditional contracts.Major projects include the M74-Completion & the Glasgow Airport Rail Link.
