-Collaborate with other Mental Health Counseling interns to create a compassion curriculum for preschoolers with developmental delays -Counsel children with developmental delays and who are on the autism spectrum in the classroom and in individualized sessions-Write behavioral plans for children with behavioral difficulties -Engage parents in participating in parent stress-reduction workshops -Assist in psychological testing and evaluations by conducting parent interviews and by completing the Child Behavior Checklist, in addition to other psychometrically-relevant tools -Conduct psychosocial intake history interviews with parents and/or legal guardians bringing their children in for early intervention (EI) or committee on preschool special education (CPSE)-Score psychometric tests and the write the appropriate psychological reports to follow-Work with children in a therapeutic capacity using play therapy and behavior interventions-Promote the socio-emotional development of preschool children -Participate in case conference meetings with entire staff inclusive of school psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, teachers, and teachers aides -Partake in group weekly supervision conducted by a certified school psychologist/mental health counselor -Maintain weekly progress notes including but not limited to: child's strengths, areas of difficulty, and goals for counseling

-Support and embrace children of incarcerated parents break the cycle of inter generational or familial incarceration -Provide one on one crisis management along Senior Counselors, for children with behavioral disorders such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, ADHD, and PTSD -Coordinate Emotional Regulation Workshops involving the use of emotion identification, labeling, and managing of negative affective states-Monitor the childrens' safety and well-being in arts and crafts, gym, computers, and other interactive activities -Assist Director of Programming with school pick-ups

-Handle pediatric charts including insurance information, annual physical examination forms, and newborn and/or school immunization records -Update pediatric computer database system-Collect weekly co-payments from patients -Weigh and measure childrens' weight and height-Tabulate patient information on government forms for mothers receiving WIC benefits -Speak with laboratory specialists about specimen pick-up
