First Assistant Golf ProfessionalHauger Golf Klub Apr 2012 - Nov 2012I worked with the PGA of America and the University of Idaho Business College to work overseas. This is the first time something like this was done in my program and it was a wonderful experience. The coolest part about this job was it highlighted my ability to think outside the box, coordinate with several high-level positions, and execute an experiential adventure that will be with me forever. I taught golf and worked as the First Assistant at a club in Lillestrom, Norway, just outside of Oslo, the capital. The course hosted the 2012 Nordea Tour and was one of the top golf destinations in Norway. The most interesting thing about the experience was the fact that before you could play golf, you had to go through a 3-day training course. This database tracked all your rounds and provided you with a handicap based on your rounds.The most fun I had was a three-way tie between visiting Hamburg Germany, Edinburgh Scotland, and Barcelona Spain.
