Organized, planned and attended meetings involving executive level management in federal, state, county, and city emergency preparedness offices and agencies. Duties included:• Implemented and coordinated agency wide national level exercises and training programs in conjunction with DOJ guidelines and HSEEP requirements.• Collaborated with staff members from the State of Virginia and Arlington County Health Departments in developing DEA’s Medical Counter Measure Program, which will incorporate DEA headquarters, all other DEA offices in the National Capital Region, Domestic Field Divisions, and subordinate offices in preparation of a national biological attack.• Established and organized the DEA Emergency Response / Preparedness Committee, comprised of representatives from HQ Offices and Divisions with a mission function that impacts all or in part the safety and preservation of personnel, facilities and operational infrastructure before and during the lifespan of an emergency event.
