Dr. Ronaldo Lima is an ophthalmologist and scientific researcher, specialist in inherited retinal dystrophies, ophthalmic genetics and electrophysiology. He is passionate about medicine, genetics and public health. Over the past several years, Dr. Lima has helped many patients, families and visually impaired athletes to achieve independence, rehabilitation and inclusion. In addition, Dr. Lima has successfully mentored and taught several medical students and ophthalmology residents.In his career in Ophthalmology, Dr. Lima has performed clinical and pre-clinical research in retina and ophthalmic genetics as well as worked with low vision rehabilitation and patient empowerment.
