From a young age, I have been a builder - home construction, embedded controllers, early PC building, programming, even some robotics. This led me to MIT where my building evolved to solving complex things simply. I spent the 90s designing and building fast distributed systems and the companies that housed them. In 2001, I was asked to be the CTO for the FBI and my path shifted to signal finding. I later led technology for the entire DOJ, before serving as CTO at Netezza and helping take the company public before its eventual sale to IBM. I have since led technology, analytics, and strategic development across financial services/investment management and consumer tech. Today I serve as the CEO of miim.ai where we deliver movement imaging using AI-based computer vision to allow for safer spaces and enriched experiences.
