As a CA Senior Project Manager, the responsibility commences with the start of the Sales cycle, working with the Account and Sales team, to enable the relationships develop between the Services organisation and the Client. A relationship is then built with the client to a level of trusted advisor. Project Managers are also ‘aligned’ to specific clients to provide continuity. Julian’s clients in Canberra, Australia included: Australian Customs, Department of Defence, Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, and Australian Maritime Safety Authority. CA Project and Program Managers handle the contractual paperwork (Statement of Work, Letter of Engagement, etc) to ensure appropriate governance levels, scope detail, financials are considered and that the level of risk at the initial stages of the project is minimised.Julian has been managing upwards of 8 projects at any single point in time, giving him an exposure to program management and the need to deal with differing, and oftentimes competing priorities.Julian has won a local quarterly award for performance based on the successful management of a number of highly visible and sensitive projects, whilst at the same time recruiting to fill a vacated project management position within the Canberra (Australia) practice.Implementation of CA’s security stack within a multi-million, multi-phase, multi-vendor programme fpr a UK Government Department.
