The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Project Management Advisor (PMA) works closely with agency portfolio and project managers and team members to help build IT projects and programs, including schedules, budgets, benefits, and project charters. The PMA provides both oversight and visibility of the portfolio(s)/program(s)/project(s) to the State CIO and Chief Deputy CIO as well as providing guidance to agencies on project risk, change in project schedule or budget, enterprise architecture expectations, best practices for project management, and how to properly setup projects to meet quality assurance standards. The PMA advises and consults with portfolio/project managers, business leads, and key stakeholders to help projects stay on track and alleviate any barriers to success.
