Law and Education Connections, LLC (www.LEConnections.com) is an education consulting practice focused on youth empowerment, education and advocacy. Through LE Connections, I create and deliver student lectures and workshops throughout the New York metropolitan area on relevant topics in youth justice and education (Ex. Responsible Social Media Use, Bullying, Cyberbullying/Sexting, Social Media and Mental Health, Juvenile Rights, etc.) Serves student populations from Pre-K through university. I represent young clients (ages 15-20) in violent and non violent felony delinquency matters in Family Court in all phases of prosecution (including arraignment, indictment, plea negotiation, trial and sentencing) as well as civil matters such as school suspension hearings and PINS petitions. I also collaborate with the various in house teams as well as school administrations and community organizations to advocate for young clients and prevent youth recidivism. Additionally, I created and delivered civilian trainings for Queens Defenders’s Far Rockaway Community Court and fostered a partnership between the firm and The Food Bank of New York which resulted in the creation of the Queens Defenders Food Pantry program.

My job was to provide criminal defense and supportive services to indigent clients (adults and youth) in all phases of prosecution including arraignment, indictment, plea negotiation, trial and sentencing. I've tried over twenty-five felony and misdemeanor cases with a 90% acquittal rate, and disposed of thousands of other misdemeanor and felony cases via dismissals and plea negotiations that delivered successful outcomes for clients.
