I am now three years into my latest career adventure: Engineering Education. The last three years have been a wonderful opportunity to share some of my experience with up and coming engineers while creating the lab environment where they learn the basic skills upon which their careers will be built. Plus I have learned quite a lot from the faculty and students with whom I have been working. I am now taking it to the next level, pursuing a masters degree that focuses on instructional design to further improve my ability to serve our students.Process and design innovation is my niche. I've worked in the automotive, firefighting and now education fields. All are technical fields which require careful thought, testing, and adherence to requirements. In every case I focused on merging the requirements of design with the need for efficiency.Bringing products from concept to market has been a large part of my career. Whether working as a member of the production team or identifying market weaknesses ripe for improvement - I thoroughly enjoy the process of finding innovative ways to rapidly create new and useful products.
