Delivered products: • Notifications Dashboard (2021) - Developed greenfield application to display notification events in a dashboard format. The main goal of the initiative was to enable a product team to continue development after 90 days. • PolicySweet UI (2020) - Developed to replace the third party vendor owned front end quoting system with an in house solution (quote.policysweet.com). Met the delivery deadline of 6/21/2020 to replace the previous system. The new in house system allows for greater control of branding content, quoting analytics, and user experience. The in house processes also allow for timely changes based off of marketing/behavioral data via blue/green deployment process. Additional ongoing collaboration with business sponsors to automate the underwriting experience and improve UX for 2020.• Connector API to Policy Admin System (2019) - Developed to automate the issuance process within policy admin system with data from PolicySweet API. • PolicySweet API (2019) - Developed initially alongside third party vendor owned front end quoting system to sell Business Owner and Work Comp insurance direct to insureds. Enables access to GAI Carrier APIs for rating, issuance, and insured data. Additionally, acts as a data transfer to agent owned lead management system to manage referral submissions. • Executed the ITIL function of major incident management with a goal of reducing downtime per month of key application systems to an average of one hour. Coordinated troubleshooting efforts during major incidents to drive towards reduction of outage time.• Managed the root cause analysis process with a goal of improving detection, reaction to, and prevention of major incidents. Collaborated among infrastructure and application teams to trouble shoot root cause conditions and implement changes to prevent recurrence of outages. • Responsible for implementing monthly Customer Care scorecard reporting metrics that included customer incident and SLA reports for all Great American Insurance business units with goal of increasing transparency toward IT.

SES PCMSpeciality Equipment Services Policy Configuration Management system was a system designed in house to give a few power users the ability to set up master lists, rating cards, policies, and parties. This system was designed for consumption of multiple other systems. It uses jQuery, ajax, and C# for front end processes and C#/Entity Framework for the back end. I mainly worked on the front end. VESThe virtual enrollment system was designed as a replacement to an older system. This system would consume information from SES PCM and use that to issue enrollments. The main languages for the front end was Angular JS, which I mostly worked on.SES Data Mart The data mart project utilizes concepts of data warehousing taught by the Kimball Group. The project utilizes dimensional modeling as well as fact modeling. Data is extracted from source system and stored in extracts for later use by the dimensions and facts. The facts and dimensions are then used by a data visualization tool called Tableau to display metrics that are important to the business unit. All three projects utilized the SCRUM methodology of AGILE.

Developed and maintained the Java webapp that controlled the work order requests at GAIC. Coordinated the upgrading of several programs from an SQL 2000 to 2005 database.
