As Event Manager at The Londoner, I served as the primary point of contact overseeing a diverse range of events. This included charity gala dinners, award ceremonies, music concerts, DDR conferences, drinks receptions, press shoots, weddings, silent auctions, VIP events, menu tastings, and meetings.I oversaw the revenue of individual events up to £750k. This entailed managing a team of up to 80 staff members catering to up to 1000 guests.I was involved with the full journey from the initial planning stages to event completion. There was four key areas to my role, including serving as the main point of contact for the event, planning and editing the running order, managing kitchen timings, and overseeing the bar for beverages. I had the privilege of orchestrating events for renowned personalities such as Busted and Rita Ora, and have looked after esteemed clients like Girls Aloud and David Beckham. Senior Event Manager
As Senior Event Manager I was tasked with managing the full day to day logistics and running order of the event. I was working across a variety of festivals, conferences and live activations managing budgets of up to £250k. Some of the campaigns I worked on were, Tate Modern, Boardmasters, Lovebox and All Points East. My role was to arrange and coordinate promotional, social and film events, such as festival activations, exhibitions and film production advertisement. I was responsible for the smooth running of events.I had to source suitable venues, advertise the events and perform additional tasks on the day necessary to run a smooth and successful event I was also responsible for recruiting and managing employees across each event. We hired agency staff on work on a short-term basis for events that needed extra staff. We also worked within film production. When working in film production the position required me to remain in direct contact with the production team, working alongside the main cast and directors. I’d receive the call sheet from production where we would be on set and organise the tasks and location of the staff. This included managing the move between the studio and location including installation of the marquee. Being reactive and using my initiative to implement last minute changes was key to ensure the needs of high profile actors and directors were met with the upmost professionalism.

I was contracted to run the University’s first graduations and inductions since 2019. The budget for this project was £1.5 million. My role involved the planning and coordination leading up to both forms of events then running the events with a team of 45+ staff. We had 3 years’ worth of graduations taking place across 2 weeks. The build was a large marquee that held up to 2,000 people for each event and on average we did 3 events a day. Inductions consisted of a fresher fair and getting 6,000 students prepared for their first year. I returned to the university in 2023 to run their graduations again.
