I am a hands-on self-directed individual, always up for a challenge, who likes to roll up my sleeves, unpack data and information, develop a plan and see it through to fruition. For the first 10 years of my professional career I was immersed in the development and commercial applications of alternative wastewater treatment technologies. During those years I immersed myself in the operations side of business and found a passion for business management in addition to the technical aspects of design and engineering, project development, project management and working with teams for a common goal. Since then, I am grateful to have had so many opportunities to work with many great customers and project teams to imagine projects and make them a reality. Presently I am a Project Engineer team leader at Los Alamos National Lab where I lead a group of Project Engineers at LANL’s Chemistry and Waste Facilities (CWF). When CWF requires facility improvements we serve as technical representatives and work with our internal customers and stakeholders to facilitate the planning, design and execution of technical engineering projects. It is our role to assemble and facilitate integrated projects teams throughout the lifecycle of the project, including LANL’s internal expertise and subcontracting with external expertise as needed. LANL is now experiencing significant growth and modernization so there is no shortage of work or challenges to keep me and my team busy.
Listed skills include Stormwater, Water Resources, Wastewater Treatment, Project Management, and 19 others.
