Software engineer within the Business Intelligence team at the Scion Group, the largest owner/operator of off-campus student housing communities globally. Scion’s portfolio comprises nearly 83,000 beds within 126 communities, serving 76 colleges, across 33 U.S states.As part of my job, I am accountable for the creation and upkeep of applications and tools that enhance operational efficiency for different departments like marketing, sales, and acquisitions. This requires working with stakeholders such as Data Analysts and Business Intelligence Engineers to build data analytic tools such as tables and dashboards, create data pipelines to collect, modify, and upload data from various sources into a central data warehouse or data lake. Additionally, I integrate data analytics and visualization tools into current workflows and applications.

Applied iterative design process to develop a portfolio web app on Figma, which reflected the firm's modern and minimalist design styles. Constructed the portfolio web app using Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, and Pinterest RESTful API.Proposed creating a client dashboard, after observing the disruption of workflow from clients inquiring on misplaced documents.
