I am a self-employed network and devops specialist.(please do not contact me for permanent positions, I'm not interested)I am an all-round engineer with experience ranging from hands-on via design to architecture. I have thorough experience in networking and hold several Cisco certifications. I have knowledge of, and experience with, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Security, VoIP and Video over IP.I have worked with traditional methods such as ITIL and Prince2, but also with agile methods such as Scrum, DevOps and SaFe.I have studied Software Defined Networking, Datacenters, Automation and virtualization as well as technologies such as Cisco ACI, VMWare NSX, Kubernetes, Docker, Python and Ansible.I have experience in telecom, ISP, retail, government, transport and industry and have worked on networks of varying sizes, from a few switches to telecom and Internet providers with over a million subscribers. I am experienced in protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS and IPv6 and with technlogies such as QoS and multicast. I can adept to these organizations and can apply the procedures that they use.I am analytical and am able to apply this capacity to both high-level (“business”) questions as well as low level troubleshooting up to and including bit level. I can solve complex problems by myself but can also lead and coach a (multi-disciplanary) team if the problem needs this.In my free time, I am the maintainer of an Open Source web based application for storing and organizing photos, Zoph.
