Technical Accomplishments• Created core technology to analyze and organize information about people in business, including overcoming ambiguity, managing noise in input data, and interpreting chronologically inconsistent information • Architect of continuous web crawling data center with 80 web crawlers, 10 database servers, and 12 terabytes of storage to deploy NLP extraction tools for internet data mining• Developed dynamic matching technology to integrate ZoomInfo’s data into partner applications, overcoming divergent concepts of companies, locations, and business entities• Designed multi-tier application system to create web-based interfaces to ZoomInfo’s data for distinct markets and usersEngineering Leadership• Responsible for hiring, mentoring, and coaching of over 20 engineers and support staff divided into multiple groups, including product and operations• Managed software development process for successful product delivery including bug tracking, design and code reviews, QA, and milestone scheduling• Negotiated 3-year $950k contract with Savvis Communications to provide off-site data center services to host ZoomInfo’s web applications• Pitched the company’s technology to potential partners and investors such as Monster, Factiva, Thomson Financial and A9• Responsible for ensuring system uptime and performance metrics according to SLA commitments

• Invented automatic phone number correction utility for area code splits, including fixing historical splits by correlating address information and phone prefixes with geographic data• Developed a conduit for PalmOS devices to synchronize contact information• Created wizards to guide user through hardware detection, scanner setup and printing

• Created front-end framework for use by 12 UI engineers on top of WebObjects, a session-based web application server tool from Apple/NeXT• Responsible for system-wide performance improvements, ultimately boosting load capacity over 600% by overcoming CORBA throughput limitations, optimizing load balancing configurations, and tuning caching strategies• Acted as primary technical contact for the bank during beta-testing, official launch, and first three months of deployment
