As an Infrastructure Specialist I am responsible to manage the cloud and the Paloalto firewalls for Kyndryl CIO Cloud Operations.

My main role in this position was to develop infrastructure automation for Bradesco Bank.

I was part of the monitoring squad as a Unix/Linux systems administrator and Ansible automation specialist, performing system configurations, and providing monitoring, and support functions for Unix (AIX), Linux (Red Hat, CentOS and SuSE), Windows operating systems, and Ansible / scripts automation.I regularly performed compliance, issue, risk and APAR reviews, migrations, software upgrades, and applying fix packs on AIX, Red Hat, SuSE, CentOs, Windows, Ansible, Turbonomic systems, as well as operating system, application, and security policy reviews, including identifying redundancies, analyzing system performance, and applying fixes where needed.I conducted provisioning/decommissioning of VM servers, installing, uninstalling, or updating Servers, and provide critical support for ITM Tivoli, Tivoli Netcool/Impact, New Relic, Dynatrace, Splunk, Turbonomic, Instana, Falcon and ITON monitoring solutions.I played a key role in developing Ansible playbooks for automating several tasks and scheduled maintenance via shell scripts, improving efficiency and increasing performance.I helped implementing Turbonomic infrastructure on Openshit and I was responsible for supporting such environment.

When I accepted this role, I was assigned as a transition manager to transition the support of Operation System (OS) for AIX, Linux, Windows, from Delivery Centers located in the United States, Argentina, India, Japan, Poland, and Hungary to a centralized team located in Brazil Delivery Center.Because the OS support was located in several geographies and each support team used different tools for managing IDs, backups, security, patches, hardware and inventories for an environment of 160 servers, the project was brought to another level and I saw a great opportunity to standardize and improve the environment in terms of processes, configurations and tools. This project drastically decreased the number of Compliance Issues, Risks and Security Issue Management. The number of severity 1 incidents and time for resolution was also decreased which resulted in less cost of operation, team effort and overtime avoidance, hence, IBM and all clients achieved an outstanding business result.The success of it was due my leadership, efficient communication and team members working all together to achieve and overcome all the client needs.I act as a leader to the community where I drove the teams to implement all the IT best practices and the may focus was automation.I developed Ansible playbooks to perform Health Checks, install patches on AIX, Linux and Windows, validate backups, automate all stop / start tools like DB2, Splunk, ITM, Netcool, New Relic, Dynatrace and so on.I developed an Ansible playbook to configure a new server with items like: patch the server, configure sudo templates, setup backups, two factor authentication, create file systems, install the application, add the server to several tools like ServiceNow, Nessus Scanner, IBM BlueIron backup, setup security, ran health check, etcIn this position I act as the third level support for consultant for the team.

I was the Technical Leader and architect for the Citrix Xenapp 6.x and 7.x environment for the NiSource account, an Electric and Gas Company located in the USA. I lead the Citrix team in project and steady state activities and I designed new customer demands.I provided tier 1, 2 and 3 support with the tools and documentation necessary to support the Citrix XenApp environment. I documented processes and procedures, instructions for users and IT personnel and the technical environment including configuration, installation details, and troubleshooting information.I was responsible for monitoring the Citrix environment including Delivery Controllers, XenApp servers and supporting infrastructure using a variety of tools.I responded to critical system issues on a 24x7x365 basis and kept management up to date about any issues and escalate in a timely manner.I maintained a multi-tiered Citrix infrastructure that is highly available, secure, and meet performance standards. I always recommended and implemented system enhancements (software/hardware updates) that improved the performance, reliability, and security of the Citrix infrastructure and ensured the environment adheres to Citrix best practices.I closely worked with the architects acting as a Citrix consultant during the project design and I also coordinated with project managers to complete any Citrix XenApp, Windows and other Citrix technology related projects.I managed any associated Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Citrix policies related to the management of the Citrix XenApp environments as well as Citrix infrastructure.I documented all Citrix processes & procedures working with appropriate vendors.I proactively found and guided the team to implement improvements to avoid future issues which brought client value and satisfaction.I designed and implemented the Citrix XenApp 7.6 with NetScaler and StoreFront for the NiSource Company.

I supported this account for a short period of time acting as an Account Subject Matter Expert (SME). My main role consisted in supporting VMware, Active Directory and all security items (health check, patches, violations, anti-virus, asset tools) and several other IBM tools for the accounts (Irving Oil, Wall Street, Detica, Bombardier, IBM-CHS, IESO). I was the 3rd level system support for the Intel India and Brazil team.

I performed capacity and performance management for the following accounts: (Dow Chemical, Panasonic, Philip Morris, Whirlpool, GAP, IGA, MS-AUS, New York Hospital, Alliance, Macys, Jones Lang and Flints)I was responsible to generate complexes reports in order to identify issues with capacity on storage devices and servers (Windows and AIX) in terms of disk space and performance issues with processor and memory. Based on the reports, I scheduled weekly meetings with the customer where I proposed improvements to avoid issues in the future. Critical situations like disk near full for example, I acted as a project manager involving the teams responsible until have all the issues fixed.

My duty consisted in implementing new Citrix servers (new farm or existing farm) and VMware (new cluster or existing cluster) installing, configuring and customizing.I was responsible to install new IBM servers (System X, Blade Centers and VM), configuring all hardware and operation system (Windows and ESX) with high quality following the quality assurance process.I was constantly assigned to projects to migrate systems with old hardware and software like print servers, file servers, application servers, Citrix and VMware. (Uplift project)I worked on a critical project that migrated more than 100 servers connected on Storage Area Network (SAN), Shark and DSM DataOnTap devices to new IBM XIV and V7000 storage devices.

When I joined the Dow Chemical support team, I acted as a system administrator for steady state activities working with incidents.1 year later I joined the project team. I migrated lots of servers from Windows NT to Windows 2003 and also migrated 8 Windows NT domains to Windows 2003 Active Directory in more than 20 sites in different countries.I worked on a large project where 11.000 print devices were replaced by 5800 Xerox print devices with high capacity in 57 countries. In the same project 200 new Windows 2003 print servers were built and 130 Windows NT acting as print servers were eliminated. I had an important role for the success of this project.I worked 5 years in the project area performing server migrations, improving the environment and implementing new tools in almost 4700 Windows servers in 76 countries.I was the Citrix Subject Matter Expert (SME) with more than 400 Citrix servers. I worked on several Citrix projects like migrating an entire farm from Citrix Metaframe 4.0 to Citrix XenApp 6.0. I was the leader of the Root Cause Analyzes (RCA) team. I had weekly meetings with all SMEs to discuss the RCA assigned and the progress of it. I also performed RCAs to identify the root cause of the problem, design the action plan and implementation to avoid reoccurrence.I went to Philadelphia / USA for transitioning the support of a company the Dow Chemical acquired called Roam & Haas which I was responsible for transitioning Citrix, Windows OS and mainframe print infrastructure.

I was responsible for supporting file, print, domain, WINS, DNS, DHCP, backup and anti-virus servers on a Window NT and 2000 infrastructure network.
