The future of this man will be driven by the opportunities those lessons will provide him.I believe that I have made many good decisions in my life, most of them have provided me some benefit, even if it was simply a lesson learned. Overall, these experiences have shown me how to be good at what I do. Whether it be Human Resources, Information Technology, Management, or simply being a husband and father, I strive to be good at everything I do. "Anything worth doing is worth doing to the best of one's ability". It is a mantra that I instill in my children, and one that governs my life.In the past, I have been a manager, a trainer, and technical support. Recently, I have had the distinct realization that the one thing I truly understand is people. When my last career was suddenly derailed, I changed gears once again to go after yet another challenge. Convener (Volunteer)Co-Ed Family Fun League (Cffl) Feb 2012 - May 2016The CFFL is a co-ed two pitch baseball league that plays out of Germain Park, Sarnia on Sundays from May through to September. The league has been in existence for over 25 years, and has had many conveners along the way. In 2012, we changed the name to the CFFL, in order to adopt a more family oriented recreational model. Along with my co-convener Shane Cuthbert, we bring the team captains of all ten teams together twice a year to discuss rule changes, debrief or prepare for the season, and air any grievances to be resolved.SO far, this has been incredibly successful. I am also the webmaster, hosting the leagues online presence on both Facebook and the web.
