Our pioneering work focuses on prevention, treatment and cure. In my current role with Alzheimer's Research UK, I am responsible for the charities Merchandise and Fulfilment. Responsibilities in this role include:- Creating and managing the annual budget for fundraising materials sourcing and fulfilment activities. - Managing the organisations 3PL provider including responsibility for review meetings, contract negotiations, and tracking relevant KPI's.- Supplier relationship management of all suppliers associated with the supply of the organisations fundraising materials.- Annual fundraising materials requirements forecasting to inform annual order quantities.- Merchandise product research to ensure the materials we have are right for the audience and the event, as well as achieving product value and optimising product sustainability.- Developing the sourcing strategy for all fundraising materials and leading on supplier selection, contract negotiation and management.- Responsible for the organisations product and sourcing sustainability, using the concept of triple bottom line - Working to reduce the environmental impact of all products and looking for innovative solutions to this challenge. Introduced and led on our supply chain visibility to ensure we have sight of factory audits, modern slavery statements and certifications for all suppliers. Working with the organisation and suppliers to reduce the impact of our freight deliveries. - Responsible for leading the development and delivery of relevant RFI, RFP, and RFQ's for the supply of materials and provision of fulfilment services.- Line management and development
